When I first started oil painting, I spent almost $300 on supplies.
It was terrifying. What if I didn’t even like it?
That’s why I created this paint kit.
I’ve already tested these materials.
I’ve already made the mistakes.
And I’ve taught many beginner students using this exact setup.
It works.
These paints are affordable but still have a strong pigment load, so you get beautiful color without spending a fortune.
What’s Inside
8x10 aluminum painting panel (pre-gessoed and ready to go)
9 essential oil paint colors (the exact beginner palette I teach with)
5ml paint pots in 8 colors, 15ml paint pot of white.
Titanium White
Cadmium Lemon
Yellow ochre
Burnt Sienna
Alizarin Crimson
Magenta
Viridian
French Ultramarine
Ivory Black
This will be enough to complete 1-3 paintings.
Why NOT Traditional Canvas?
Canvas has tooth and small brush strokes get lost.
Aluminum panels are
Lightweight
Durable
Smooth (great for smaller brush strokes)
Archival (means they last a LONG LONG time)
And they behave beautifully with oil paint
Making a big impact the past several years in the professional art world.
These are the exact same panels I use for my professional paintings.
Is This Mandatory?
Absolutely not.
If you already own oil painting supplies, you can use those.
But if you’re starting from zero — or don’t want to spend hours researching — this is the easiest way to begin.
